Obviously prevention is better than cure, but unfortunately as a photographer myself, I have often experienced the disappointment of photos having the wrong color balance.
Color correction restores natural look of your images.
Through my experience over years, I have an arsenal of techniques for color correction that repair images of wrong color balance.
Photographers can also help their images by shooting a white balance grey card to streamline the color correction process for themselves if they shoot in RAW, or by using custom white balance and shooting a image with neutral grey to help their photos if they shoot Jpegs. I would always suggest RAW, as the final image quality is always much higher than when sooting jpegs, but it all boils down to storage space and investment cost.
